- The overarching goal of integrating under Vandalia Health is to continue our commitments and services to CAMC Health System and Mon Health System's communities, while creating opportunities to efficiently and effectively enhance the quality of health care services in West Virginia.
- With similar cultures and a focus on improving care and access for our patients, it was a logical next step to create a new, statewide option that is built on a foundation of collaborative practices.
Is the name of my local hospital changing?
- CAMC and Mon Health System will maintain their branding as part of the Vandalia Health System.
How does the creation of Vandalia Health affect patients?
- Providing care to patients is at the heart of everything we do at CAMC and Mon Health System. Our dedication to this focus will continue and be strengthened under the Vandalia Health banner.
- Patients should not see a difference in their care or providers.
- Patients will not see a difference in how they schedule appointments, get billed or pay bills.
- Vandalia Health allows CAMC and Mon Health System to strengthen and expand the scope and scale of care available for patients and families, while managing health care costs.
Will the CAMC and Mon Health System Foundations become one under Vandalia Health?
- No. The CAMC Foundation will continue to raise funds for CAMC and the Mon Health System and Preston Memorial Hospital Foundations will continue to keep their current focus for fundraising.
